We are looking for a part time Social Work Instructor to join our team. Enjoy the flexibility of working from home while helping students achieve their education and career goals.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Teach, review, and manage online course content.
  • Facilitate student discussions, moderating to extend the course content and keep discussions constructive.
  • Model effective oral and written communication that engages students, provides clarity,  and improves student learning.
  • Coaching students via phone, email and/or online.
  • Grade paper and online assignments in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate consistency and fairness in the grading of exams and quizzes.
  • Provides timely feedback to students.
  • Sets clear objectives for students by adhering to course syllabus and posting expectations for assignments and exams.

Requirements Include:

  • Candidates must possess a minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in the field to be taught and demonstrated expertise in the subject field of the Associates Degree discipline (Graduate degree preferred).
  • At least two years full-time work experience or 5 years part-time work experience in the area to be taught is required.
  • Candidates must hold a degree earned from an institution accredited by an agency that is recognized by the United States Secretary of Education and or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or for non-U.S. institutions, an accepted foreign equivalent that is listed in the International Handbook of Universities (18th ed.)
  • General Education faculty must possess a Master’s degree, and at least 18 semester hours of Master’s program in the subject field.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Technologically savvy (internet, email and online learning platform a plus)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • High speed internet access required
  • Must be able to pick up and drop off mail at Fort Collins office daily (Monday-Friday)
  • Ability to interact effectively with students, answer questions and grade papers
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and writing)
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Enthusiastic, motivating personality.
